Hanzo Group LLC (“Hanzo Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Don’t Forget mobile application (“Don’t Forget” or the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Don’t Forget.

Don’t Forget is designed to help users save and retrieve memories, create reminders, record information using voice, and associate photos and videos with saved memories.

We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how information is accessed, stored, and used.

Information We Handle:

Don’t Forget allows you to voluntarily create and store information such as memories, reminders, notes, voice input, photos, and videos.

The App may request access to certain features of your device, including the microphone, camera, notifications, and media-related functionality, when necessary to provide features you choose to use.

Information you create within Don’t Forget is used to provide the App’s memory, reminder, search, voice, photo, and video features.

How Information Is Stored:

Don’t Forget is designed primarily to store your memories, reminders, notes, photos, videos, and related information locally on your device.

Information you choose to save is used to provide the features of the App. Hanzo Group LLC does not sell your personal information.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your device and for controlling access to information stored within the App.

Permissions and Device Access:

Depending on the features you choose to use, Don’t Forget may request permission to access certain features of your device, including:

• Microphone — for voice input and voice-related features.

• Camera — for capturing photos and videos you choose to associate with memories.

• Notifications — to deliver reminders and alerts you create.

• Media-related functionality — to save and display photos or videos you choose to use within the App.

These permissions are used only to provide the features you choose to use. You can manage device permissions through your device settings.

How We Use Information:

Information you create or provide within Don’t Forget is used to operate and provide the App’s features, including helping you:

• Save and retrieve memories and information.
• Create and receive reminders and notifications.
• Use voice input to record information.
• Capture and associate photos and videos with saved memories.
• Search and retrieve information you have previously saved.

We do not use information stored within the App for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

Sharing of Information:

Hanzo Group LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Information and content you create within Don’t Forget are not shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Information may be disclosed if required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, Hanzo Group LLC, or others.

Data Retention and Deletion:

Information you save in Don’t Forget remains on your device until you choose to delete it, clear the App’s stored data, or uninstall the App, subject to your device’s operating system and backup settings.

Don’t Forget provides controls that allow you to delete individual saved memories and related content. Certain App data can also be cleared through available App controls or your device settings.

Because Don’t Forget currently stores user-created memory content locally on your device, Hanzo Group LLC does not maintain a separate server-side copy of that locally stored content for you to request that we delete.

Children’s Privacy:

Don’t Forget is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13. Hanzo Group LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the App.

If we become aware that personal information from a child under 13 has been provided to us in a manner that requires deletion under applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to address it.

Security:

Hanzo Group LLC takes reasonable measures designed to protect information associated with Don’t Forget. Because information stored locally on your device may also depend on your device’s security, you should use appropriate device protections such as a passcode, PIN, fingerprint, or other available security features.

No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes to This Privacy Policy:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Don’t Forget, our practices, or applicable requirements. When we make changes, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this Privacy Policy.
